Soon, we might need just one drop of blood to get patients’ complete medical information including what diseases they are at risk for, how to best prevent them, and what therapies will be most efficient in their case.
Today, synthetic biology allows us to engineer the genetic code and to write from scratch any DNA sequence – whether it already exists in nature or not.
